Together with the partner institutions, Mr. Hendrikx and Ms. Fischer discussed not only the status quo of market surveillance in Moldova but also upcoming activities of the project and relevant topics the project should tackle.
In Moldova it was decided that PTB will support interested partner institutions to participate at the event of the Consumer and Market Surveillance Agency (APCSP) on theInternational Day of Consumer Protection on 15 March 2019. One colleague from Inspection Body for Market Surveillance from Armenia and one colleague from the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine will participate. You can find the information about the meeting on the APCSP website here. Also, the Moldovan Accreditation Body MOLDAC was visited. Here, the support of PTB of a quality infrastructure conference in October 2019 was decided.
From 27 to 28 February, fruitful discussions were held in Armenia with the Inspection Body for Market Surveillance and the Accreditation Body ARMNAB.
On 1 March, the PTB team visited Belarus. The State Committee for Standardization of Belarus and the State Centre for Accreditation BSCA gave useful information for the planning of the project. At BSCA, it was decided that the Accreditation Body supports the project by holding a training on GMO and food (fat) themselves with organisational and financial support by PTB.
