As part of the Steering Meeting, the Accreditation Forum took place on September 23. Accreditation Expert Ms Dr. Rózsa Ring moderated the forum.

Topic: Transfer to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 – Potentials and difficulties of the National Accreditation Bodies

Moderation: Dr. Rózsa Ring

A short statement of the current situation regarding to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 by the country representatives of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine was part of the virtual meeting. The following points were highlighted:

• progress of implementation
• activites completed
• challenges of the NAB and the laboratories
• main lessons learned
• future activities
• questions remained open

Participants: The representatives of the National Accreditation Bodies from the Eastern Partnership and the South East Europe region (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine).
