Due to COVID 19 the Training on ISO/IEC 17021-2:2016 and ISO 14001 was planned as an online format. It was conducted in sessions by the trainers Ms Atyrkul Momukulova, Head of the laboratory accreditation Department of the Kyrgyz accreditation center and Ms Beatriz Paniagua, Head of the accreditation body in Costa Rica. The following topics were covered:

• Implementation of the standards
• Differences from the previous standard
• The relationship between the two standards
• Mandatory international documents that are necessary for the implementation of these standards
• Requirements of international organisations
